Accounting Administrator

Summary: Administer various accounting processes to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer maintenance and accounting administration.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Credit Application Processing

-  Company Wide - Customer Maintenance Processing

-  End of day Invoicing and Credit Card Processing

-  Preparing the Tewksbury Daily Cash Deposits

-  Processing A/R Checks in the Mail

-  Bringing Deposits to Bank – Bank Run

-  Plant Prepayment Process

  o   Review reporting to determine which customers need a prepayment letter and summary

  o   Preparing the plant letter and order summary to be sent requesting the prepayment

  o   Processing and posting plant prepayments

  o   Processing credit card payments and posting towards the appropriate plant orders

-  Bad Debt Accounts – Collection Agency Placements

  o   Preparation of Account Placements

  o   Monitoring and Updating collection activity with agency / attorney

  o   Updating attorney of payments received on collection accounts

  o   Posting attorney payments to customer accounts

  o   Maintaining and updating collections worksheet

  o   Updating customer notes in Prelude

-  Updating and maintaining Sales Tax forms

-  Back up Accounts Payable and Receivable Department

  o   Lockbox Processing

  o   Accounts Receivable Group Phones

  o   Check Runs

-   Miscellaneous Projects

  o  CWO Report

  o Finance Charge Report

  o  Small Credit Balance Project

** This position requires regular and reliable attendance and adherence to work schedules
