Biological Control Agents (BCAs)

Griffin supports growers currently using biological control agents (BCAs) and those growers considering BCA use. The GGSPro
team serves as a coach and technical resource to these growers. In addition to creating individualized BCA plans, the GGSPro team
maintains a collection of Quick Sheets, a BCA compatibility database, and an assortment of useful bulletins to guide grower success.
The GGSPro Quick Sheets contain information growers need to be successful with BCAs for control of common insect and mite
pests. In addition to rates, the Quick Sheets contain release and placement instructions, viability assessment criteria, temperature and
humidity requirements and more. The GGSPro compatibility database compiles information from multiple sources for a well-rounded
perspective on pesticide compatibility. CROP PROTECTION & SANITATION

Griffin is also committed to providing high quality BCAs with state-of-the-art packaging, including a variety of sachets (breeding
colonies), blister packs and traditional bulk packaging. Bioline Agrosciences, Beneficial Insectary and BioBee are prime suppliers to
ensure uninterrupted availability and a wide selection of available products to meet individual grower needs.

Ordering deadlines vary by product and vendor. Some products can ship M-Th if the order is in by noon M-W (EST) which
then will ship the following day. To assure delivery, it is best to place orders one week in advance with orders being
placed by 2 pm (EST) Tuesday/Wednesday with shipment the following week.

protection products can work together as part of a successful
IPM program. Reserve conventional chemistry for cleanup or
outbreak situations and rely on compatible biopesticides and
BCAs preventatively. Understanding product compatibility,
residual activity, and application timing helps preserve beneficial
