co-extruded, or blow molded options in sizes ranging from
4” to 20 gallons.

Injection molded
Injection molded pots are considered a premium container, generally
providing more strength and durability. Injection containers are
manufactured with thick walls and heavy bottom construction,
featuring large bottom or side drain holes ideal for outdoor irrigation.
Injection containers are automation friendly for pot filling and pot
handling equipment. These pots are durable enough for reuse.
Blow molded
Blow mold pots are more economical than injection molded pots
and present an easy way to reduce input costs. Many feature ribbed
sides for additional strength, sturdy corners to avoid cracking,
and a wide base for additional stability when relocating plants in
your operation. They feature bottom or high/low side drainage, –
depending on your irrigation practices. Blow molded are not suited
for automated equipment because they don’t de-nest well. One big
advantage of blow molded pots over injection molded pots is size
options – these are available in sizes up to 65 gallons. Blow molded
pots may be reused.
Thermoformed and co-extruded
Thermoformed and co-extruded pots are single use containers and
the most economical choice. Best suited for shorter crop cycles,
these pots do offer adequate strength for crops that do not require
frequent handling. These pots are automation friendly and available
in different colors. Co-extruded pots can be produced with black
on the inside and a different color on the outside. White/black pots
are a popular choice to reduce heat load on the root zone, while still
protecting the root zone from heat. These are smaller pots, generally
from 3-6 inch.
