          Understanding Availability & Iron Stability























                                                                               Micronutrients are required in small
                                                                      quantities, but their availability plays a critical
                                                                     role in plant growth and crop quality. Choosing
                                                                              the micronutrient form — particularly
                                                                      sulphates versus chelates — can significantly
                                                                            affect nutrient solubility, compatibility in
                                                                               nutrient solutions, and plant uptake.


                                                                       This article provides an overview of chelated
                                                                          micronutrients, explains why chelates are
                                                                           often preferred over sulphate forms, and
                                                                       highlights the potential risks associated with
                                                                       mixing sulphate and chelated micronutrients,
                                                                                    with a particular focus on iron.
