Research opportunities for hemp have opened up
significantly since its legalization. Some research
focuses on how environmental conditions as well as
genetics can influence production of commercially
valuable compounds, while other projects examine
hemp’s impact on the environment. This research is
being conducted by private companies and university-
based teams across the US. This article will highlight
a few of the most popular subject areas.
