Specific balance of macro, secondary and micronutrients delivers an efficient combination of nutrients suitable for many different growing environments and crop types.

Jack's Dark weather Peat-Lite is an ideal product for growers who want a non-phosphorus, high nitrate product with calcium. The macro nutrient and secondary nutreint levels are very similar to the standard Dark Weather formula, however the biggest benefit you will get when using this formula is the elevated micronutrient levels.
Any prodcut that has the Peat-Lite tag in the name designates that the micronutrient package is elevated to provide a boost of micros when growing in a soilless or "peat-lite" mix.
Alternate with 20-10-20 Peat-Lite or use as a "finisher" for flowering plants like poinsettias. This formula has the Peat-lite micronutrient levels needed for commercially made peat-lite potting media.
For use on: All plants. Especially useful for plants that have a higher Ca requirement like Poinsettias and Tomatoes.

An essential "Part B" provides a very soluble and available source of calcium in a two-part nutrient system. Contains very pure and completely available calcium and nitrate nitrogen nutrient sources.

This product is specially formulated for those chronically iron-hungry crops such as petunia, calibrachoa, bacopa and others. The original Jack's FeED product designed with all three iron chelates, EDTA, DTPA and EDDHA. Our proprietary blend of iron level is unmatched by any competitor and guaranteed to deliver iron at a much broader range of pH over the entire crop cycle. This nutrient profile is also paired with a low phosphorus level to help prevent excessive elongation. It is not recommended for use on geraniums or other iron sensitive crops.

Jack's 15-16-17 is a nice variation of Geranium Special 15-15-15 with slightly elevated micro nutients. With a ratio similar to 20-20-20 but with over 60% nitrate nitrogen, boosted micronutrient levels, and much less acidic reaction in the root media. The balanced N-P-K ratio is excellent for producing fast-growing plants or for maintaining plants in a sales environment.
For use on: All plants, especially our friend, the geranium. More importantly, a great choice when trying to maintain finished plants in a garden center.

The Cal-Plus Special is a completely water soluble prilled mixture of calcium nitrate, potassium nitrate and micronutrients.

Jack's Geranium 15-15-15 is well known as Dr. Cari Peters' favorite formula. An ideal fertilizer for geraniums and other neutral pH loving plants. Dr. Cari spent a significant portion of her Masters and PhD program studying the effect of nutritional imbalances in many different types of geraniums. After all that time, she still believes in the simple strength of this formula.
The high phosphorus content promotes strong root growth and bud set in the plant (also, great for pink hydrangeas). The high nitrate nitrogen content (56%) and the general-purpose level of micronutrients help minimize nutritional toxicities on geraniums.
This formula grows fantastic geraniums when you have a good source of calcium already in your water source. Its slightly acidic nature keeps pH on the downward trend without causing pH drop out in the plant root zone.
*Note*--if water source does not have over 40 ppm Ca, or is slightly acidic, growers can use this formula as an alternate with the standard 15-5-15 and still see many of the greening and blooming effects we love from the Geranium 15-15-15.

Plantex 21-7-7 has a very high potential acidity. If used in a continuous feeding program, the pH should be monitored to ensure that it does not go below the desired level. Plantex 18-6-20 contains over 60% of the nitrogen in the nitrate form, a high level of magnesium, an increased level of molybdenum, a low boron level and chelated micronutrients.

Plantex 18-6-20 Poinsettia Plus fertilizer is a judicious choice for the production of poinsettias for its balance of nutrients and its increased molybdenum level.

This formula is designed for use by pansy growers wanting an acidic soil reaction and the increased iron, magnesium and boron levels required by pansies. The iron is partially in DTPA form.

Plantex 15-30-15 is ideal for hydrangeas since the high phosphorus content ties up excess aluminum in the soil which causes a strong pink colouration in the blooms. Acid-loving plants such as african violets respond well to this formulation due to its high potential acidity. Use during the early stages of crop growth, when many greenhouse crops require extra phosphorus, particularly tomatoes and cucumbers grown in soil. Plantex 15-30-15 can be used to remedy phosphorus deficient soils.

Plantex 15-30-15 Starter fertilizer is recommended at the beginning of growth, as required by many greenhouse crops, in particular by tomatoes and cucumber grown in open ground. Plantex 15-30-15 fertilizer is also utilized to address a phosphorus deficiency in the soil.

Recommendations:
*Hydrangeas (pink varieties): the phosphorus it contains in abundance immobilizes the excess of aluminum in the soil, which will give a beautiful red color to the inflorescences
*Acid loving plants such as African violets react well to this fertilizer due to its strong acidifying potential

Plantex 15-15-30 supplies twice as much potassium as nitrogen, while still maintaining the optimal levels of the other plant nutrients. Over 58% of the nitrogen is in the nitrate form. It has a very low potential acidity, exhibiting minimal acidifying tendencies in the soil. It is recommended when soil levels or tissue samples show low potassium levels or when plants are setting bud, as well as during maturation and blooming.

Plantex 15-15-30 High K fertilizer is specially conceived for flowering pots. It supplies twice as much as potassium than nitrogen while maintaining the other nutrients at an optimal level.

An ideal fertilizer for plug and young plant production. A complete formula with 6% soluble calcium and 3% soluble magnesium. It is formulated with 94% nitrate nitrogen to provide an easy to uptake nitrogen form for new roots and also low light, cooler conditions. Low phosphorus and a balanced micronutreint package helps promote compact, sturdy plugs.
