A synthetic acrylic copolymer developed to reduce the amount of water needed to maintain vigorous plants. When mixed in the soil the crystals will soften and swell as water is added and absorbed. When the potting system dries, the polymer will release its water to the plant. Soil moist acts as a water reservoir, even during periods of drought the stored water is released to the plant. CapSil is a unique organosilicone surfactant that increases spray droplet coverage by breaking surface tension. Most pesticides perform better, and visible residue from wettable powders is noticeably reduced. Do not use with strobiluron fungicides or with pesticides that already contain a surfactant. Research has shown that CapSil can be used to decrease water stress and hasten rooting in many unrooted cuttings.
