The Felco 5 bypass pruner, with handles made from solid steel and simplified construction, is an ideal choice for the home hobby gardener. No cushion stop, sap groove or wire-cutting notch.

Fast, easy pull action is easier and safer than other saws. The shape of the turbo-cut blade is thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom-where the teeth are. This unique Felco feature keeps only the teeth in contact with the material to be cut. This prevents clogging and binding, since the sides of the blade never come in contact with the wood.

Both cutting and anvil blades are not riveted and the narrow, pointed blade design allows for close pruning. Light alloy handles are shaped to act as an extension of the forearm. The anvil blade handle is designed to prevent the pruner from sliding through the hand. This hollow ground, Swiss, precision, hardened steel blade features a wire-cutting notch. The blades are set on dowel pins for easy maintenance.
