Active Ingredient: Silver Nitrate Alesco is a unique post-harvest product to protect ethylene sensitive crops during shipping and retail display. Ethylene damage can be caused by transportation stress, dark storage, temperature fluctuations and external sources such as forklifts. This product is applied as a foliar spray to blooming plants that cover most of the growing area, ideally 1-2 days before shipping. Alesco remains effective for up to 3 weeks after treatment depending on the variety and environmental conditions. Benefits include: reducing flower petal shatter, bud abortion, leaf yellowing while extending flower longevity. A partial list of ethylene sensitive crops that benefit from an application of Alesco include: campanula, dahlia, dianthus, hibiscus, impatiens, lobelia, pansy, Pelargonium (geranium), petunia, rose, schlumbergera, and viola. Foliar spray rates: 3/4 teas per gal or 12.8 oz per 100 gal. (1 container in 50 gal of water treats approximately 1 acre)
